Bowling Club will mark the end of its activities for this year with a banquet, which is to be held in the Maine West cafeteria on Tuesday, March 14. Beginning after school at 4 p.m., it will last approximately one hour and will feature the presentation of awards to teams and individuals.
Trophies will be presented to the first, second, third, and fourth place teams. The boy and girl with the highest series and the boy and girl who have improved most since the beginning of the year will also receive awards. Even the losers will not be forgotten, according to Miss Mildred McManus, girls' physical education

teacher, who is in charge of the banquet. She plans to present "crying towels" to those who did not make high enough scores for a trophy or patch.
The banquet will be a first for Maine West in that it will be the first co-ed Bowling Club banquet held here. The Bowling Club sponsor, Miss McManus, expects approximately three-fourths of the club's 64 members to show up.
Miss McManus feels that the co‑educational, or "co‑recreational," Bowling Club, which met every Tuesday from 4:10 to 6:15 p.m. at Sims, has been a great success and that she has enjoyed working with it.
