This year's Senior Class, the Class of '67, will conclude its big prom weekend with the Dream Train trip that will take it to Nippersink, Wisconsin. The entire trip is being organized and planned by a group of parents from the PTC who are anxious to see that the seniors have one last, fun‑filled fling as a class, before they graduate.
Mr. Robert Hayward, who is in charge of the plans, said, "The main point that we want to emphasize about this trip is that it does not have to be a dating affair. Of course, you can come with dates, but this is not necessary. This trip is for the whole class to enjoy. If you don't have a date, come alone or get together with some friends and come in a group."
The Dream Train fun begins about midnight on June 2 after the Senior Prom. Dressed in casual clothes, all the seniors who are going will meet at the Elks' Club for a midnight supper. Then they will snake dance to the buses which will take them to the Dream Train. The Dream

Train will consist of a car containing a combo for dancing, cars with refreshments, game cars, and several passenger cars. There will be several fathers from the PTC planning committee present on the train to supervise and organize activities.
Upon arriving at Nippersink about 5 am., the seniors will eat a hearty breakfast and then be free to indulge in many activities: tennis, badminton, volleyball, shuffle board, swimming, and rowing. The seniors will also have the opportunity to see a floor show and a full‑length movie. They will depart shortly after lunch for the train ride back to Des Plaines.
The cost of the trip is $15 per person. Reservation information will be available to seniors soon. PTC mothers will be at school to take reservations. The reservation deadline will be sometime near the end of April.
