Coach Jobst feels that the freshman squad looks good this year and should be the best squad at this level in years.

"We beat Palatine in our indoor season, but we'll have a tough time with them outdoors," stated Coach Jobst.

For the varsity in the twomile event Doug Chase came in first with a time of 10:06; Kesaris was second; and Mc Bride of Prospect was third.
