Intramural Reports

The final game of intramural basketball was the sophomore championship game between Dave Winn's team, Coach Al Carsten's second, and John Shaefer's, Coach Robert Retel's third period class. Shaefer's team won in a close game 18‑14. Team members included John Shaefer, Bill Earhart, Ray Anderson, Al Shank, Mike Baker, Stan Adams, and Christopher Drake.

Due to the lack of boys' interest in intramural wrestling, bouts were held on a frosh‑soph, junior‑senior basis. In the frosh-soph, Bill Beam won in the 110‑pound class, Rich Kleka, 120; Mat Clark, 130; Tom Vanderwarren, 135; Randy Shumaker, 140; Jim Doherty, 150; Glenn Clinton, 165; and Tom Peterson, heavyweight.

In the junior‑senior tournament, Charles King came out on top in the 130‑pound class; Dennis Jackaci, 125; Glenn Liss, 140; Fred Wascura, 150; Jerry Eerebout, 160; Russ Lino, 170; and Glenn Ehrhart, heavyweight.
