"Choo‑choo a go‑go" will chug out of the Des Plaines train station about 1:30 a.m., June 3, taking the Class of '67 on its after prom trip.
The planning of this trip, under the direction of Mr. Everett Pagett, has been under way since last summer.
After the Senior Prom, "Now Until Forever," the seniors will go home to change into casual clothes and then meet at the Elk's Club for a midnight snack. From the Elk's Club they will walk to the train station to board "Choo‑choo a go‑go." A combo called "The Moonglows" will provide music for dancing on the train trip.
The seniors will arrive at Nippersink at about 5:30 a.m., just in time for a hearty breakfast. After breakfast they will be free to engage in many outdoor activities like swimming, volleyball, tennis, and more, or just relax in the sun. Indoors they will be able to see a professional floor show and a full length movie.

Lunch will be served at about noon, and the seniors will depart for Des Plaines soon after lunch. Arrival time in Des Plaines is expected to be around 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Robert Hayward has been active in the planning of this trip and is hopeful that "Everyone who attends will be able to have a good time doing whatever they want to do, because there will be a wide variety of things available to do."
Tickets are $15 per person and are being sold every Wednesday and Friday until May 3 in front of the cafeteria. A $5 deposit will hold each reservation. All tickets must be picked up and paid for by May 17.
Each person planning to attend must have a parent permission slip on file with the ticket sellers before final tickets will be given out.
Nippersink Manor is one of the few lodges of this type large enough to accommodate a group of 400 or more and willing to open its facilities to high school students.
