The Freshman Class party will take place next Saturday, April 29, from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. Admission is free, and school dress is required.
Hopes for the party are high. Tim Wayman '70, president, states, "We're trying to make this party into the best class party there has ever been!"
Debbie Lusk '70, refreshment committee chairman, says, "We hope to have as big a turnout as we had for our PTC party."
The party is stag, so an attendance of about 500 is expected.
The Class Council met April 12 and committees were appointed. Serving on the refreshment committee are Debbie Lusk '70, chairman; Penny Mata '70, and Carol Kaap 70.
The publicity committee includes Kris Kristen '70, chairman; John Schmidt '70, Debbie Braid '70, Donna Wadsworth '70, Sue Terp '70, Diane Hendrickson '70, Lynn Callarman '70, and Debbie Zulawski '70.

Plans for the party are still in progress, but facts which are definitely known are that dancing will be in the cafeteria and refreshments will be available in R‑104.
Weather permitting, the music will be piped out to the patio adjoining R‑104.
The freshmen are considering the "Riddles" or "The Generation" as possible entertainment. As Lee Evans '70, secretary, puts it, "That's the best thing ever!"
All gym facilities, excluding the pool, will be open to those who wish to use them.
According to President Tim Wayman, the Council voted not to feature a talent show because "They have not been too popular in the past."
