MW Has New Security Officer

"This is a new experience for me, but I really like it. Maine West has a great group of students," smiled Mr. Thomas Fallbacher, Maine West's new security officer.

Mr. Fallbacher, who came to his new position on March 2, 1967, from the Dean Food Company, thinks Maine West is "an outstanding school, but it's a change since my high school days. In those days we walked, not rode in cars."

With sparkling blue eyes and his ever‑present smile, Mr. Fallbacher said he is married and has two children and six grandchildren.

In his spare time he enjoys reading magazines and working in his woodshop.

He is also a Shriner and spends a good deal of time involved in the Shriner activities.

Officer Fallbacher takes pride in his work and said, "I know I'll enjoy it. I like to work with the students, and we understand each other."

Officer Fallbacher's sense of humor was especially apparent when he commented on driving conditions. "Students are generally safety minded, but there are a few cowboys out there," he grinned.

His only comment on parking was that "Students should use the parking lot that was meant for them and not the teachers' lots. Students should also have a school sticker."
