Cindermen Lose Meet to Palatine

The Warrior trackmen lost their attack when Anenbury of Palatine placed first in the high hurdles with a time of 16.0 seconds. Hammer of Maine placed second and Render was third.

Palatine also took the low hurdles when Gill came in first with a time of 21.0 seconds. Hammer of West and Dannenberg of Palatine came in second and third respectively.

Gill of Palatine took the 100‑yard dash with a time of 10.7 seconds. Teammate Jennings placed second ahead of the Warriors' Luebke.

West didn't place in the 220‑yard run when Ekeberg, Gill, and Hirch of Palatine came in first, second, and third.

Maine West finally got a first place when Braun passed Denton and Atkinson to win the 440‑yard run with a time of 53.2.

The 880‑yard run found Denton and Bahnfleth of Palatine placing first and second respectively. West's Lusk placed third.

Maine got their second win when LaBadie won the mile event with a time of 4:25.5. Denton of Palatine and Atkinson of Palatine were second and third.

Doug Chase set a school record when he came in ahead of Visk of Palatine and Maine's Kesaris in the two‑mile event with a time of 9:51.8.

Palatine won the 880 relay and the mile relay. Maine won only one more event, the pole vault. Palatine won the discus throw, shot put, the long jump, and the high jump.
