"Forget Me Not" is this year's theme for the Mother and Daughter Dessert sponsored by the Girls' Club. It will be held in the cafeteria on Thursday, May 11, from 7:30 until 9:30 p.m. Sunday best attire will be appropriate for the evening.
Lynn Nielsen '67, president of Girls' Club, stated, "The purpose of this dessert is to give all senior girls and their mothers a chance to be with old friends for the last time before graduation." She added, "I hope everyone will attend."
The seven senior girls whose folk‑singing group was featured at V‑Show will entertain the ladies. Lynnea Anderson, Donna Finke, Debbie lower, Donna Ladendorf, Lynda Pinzke, Nancy Ritchey, and Sue Ziehn are the girls in the group.
Other entertainment will include a banjo-guitar act by Sherri Schueller '68 and Lauri Schueller '69. Donna Gloor '70 will do a modern dance presentation. Adding something special to the evening will be Sukru Gruel '67, our Turkish foreign

exchange student, who will play some of the traditional songs of his homeland on the mandolin. Mark Nichols '67 will accompany him on the piano.
Connie Stetcher '67, chairman of the entertainment committee, announced, "The highlight of the evening will be a skit entitled 'Cinderella' presented by the Footlighters."
Tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria the week of May 3. A $1.50 ticket will admit a mom and daughter.
The important committee chairmen for this dessert are Kathy Bautista '69, tickets Donna Ladendorf, heading the refreshment committee; Debbie Sider '68, arranging the decorations; Connie Stecher in charge of the entertainment; and Janice Walker '67, publicity chairman.
Cake, milk, and coffee will be served at the dessert.
