"Watch The Girls Go By" is the theme of this year's Home Economics Department fashion show to be presented Friday, May 12, at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. At this time the girls of the clothing classes will model the various fashions they have made throughout the year. There will be no admission fee.
Among the awards to be presented at this time will be the Betty Crocker Contest award and the Penny Flame Cherry Pie Contest award. Special recognition will be given to the Home Economics Club officers.
The show will feature approximately 200 students from the Clothing I, Clothing II, and Clothing III classes, who will model the clothing they have made. In addition, there will be approximately 20 children who will model clothing made especially for them by the students. Some of the Clothing III students will model dresses which they have designed themselves. The girls of Clothing II will model formals.

Refreshments will be served during intermission. They will be made and served by the Home Economics Club, sponsored by Miss Kathryn Gore.
The commentators for the fashion show are Carol Catardi, Pat Dierks, Pat Dowling, Linda Johnson, Linda King, Christina Peterson, and Peggy Wallin. Substitute commentators are Mary Burkman and Roberta Saxe.
Mrs Lucille Stiles, Home Economics Department chairman, says, "In addition to making and modeling all the outfits, students have been very much involved in planning the show. I think high school students will enjoy it. We invite all of you to come and 'Watch the Girls Go By.,
