G.AA. Says

G.A.A. gymnastics intramurals came to a climax April 27 with an all‑school meet. Girls from all classes competed for individual and class awards.

The results of the meet follow. Balance beam: first, Judy Nitzsche '69; second, Marty Bushey '69; and third, Sandy Braid '69. Uneven bars: first, Judy Haase '67; second, Sue Buthman '67, and third, Pauline Ruge '69. Vaulting: first, Sue Winn '70; second, Jan Konz '70, and Kathy Grose '67; and third, Sandy Braid. Trampoline: first, Sue Winn; second, Barb Kelly '70; and third, Carolyn Nicodem '69.

Softball intramurals are in full swing. Girls are waiting for warmer days to go outside for games. All girls are welcome to come on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school to C‑wing gym for softball intramurals.

Golf intramurals are scheduled to begin May 8 on Mondays and Wednesdays in the C‑wing gym. From here all girls will travel to the Lake Park course. Equipment will be provided by the G.A.A.

G.A.A. is planning two big events for the future. On May 20 girls from all junior highs will be invited to attend the annual junior high playday. G.A.A. will host this activity. All members should plan to attend from 9 am. to 1 p.m.

G.A.A. is also planning its annual awards dessert to be held May 22 in the cafeteria. New intramural board officers will be installed, and all members will receive awards for points accumulated during the year.
