Ballots have been cast, and the votes have been counted. Now the seniors must wait until June 1 to find out who has been selected to fill the Senior superlatives and prophecies. The Senior Dessert will take place on June 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Maine West cafeteria.
The dessert will include entertainment; cake, ice cream, and punch; and the announcement of the Senior superlatives. Laurie Andropolis is in charge of the plans for the dessert.
Laurie seems to be really enthusiastic about the event. "It's going to be real panic! The entertainment includes everything. Of course, the most important part of the evening will be the announcing of the Senior superlatives and awarding the winners with their prizes. Linda Virostko and Pete Gianpetro will announce the winners."

Janie Rische, entertainment chairman, commented that entertainment will include everything from freshmen to nuns to folk singers.
Proper attire for the dessert will be suits or sport coats and ties for the boys and dressy cottons and heels for the girls.
The long‑awaited Senior Prom, "Now Until Forever," is rapidly approaching. At 8:30 P.m. on June 2, the Bob Over Orchestra will begin to play in the Grand Ballroom of Henrici's O'Hare Inn, signifying the beginning of this formal affair.
When the dance terminates at 11:30, the seniors will go home, change clothes, and then go to the Elk's Club where the after‑prom party and Dream Train trip will begin.
