Tomorrow night, May 20, will be the highlight of the year for all juniors. The event is the junior prom, "An Adventure in Paradise."
Ron Colberg, prom chairman, said, "This prom promises to be the best Maine West has ever seen. If anyone has not received a ticket, he may obtain it in D‑104 or from me."
Linda Johnson, entertainment chairman, stated, "This prom really promises to be an 'Adventure in Paradise.' There will be Tahitian food, and the band will be dressed in Tahitian clothing. We are presently trying to secure permission to have Tahitian dancers during the band breaks."

Lorrie concluded by saying, "We need help in decorating. R‑104 will be decorated Friday night from 3:45 to 9 p.m., and the auditorium will be decorated on Saturday from 9 am. to 2 P.M."
To commemorate their evening, couples may have their pictures taken with a South Seas background for $4.50. The couples will receive their two four‑by five inch sized pictures and their two wallet‑sized pictures within a week after the prom.
