Student Council elections have come to a climax. Ellen Sangster '68 was chosen vice-president and Diane Quinn '68, treasurer. The committee chairmen are as follows: Jody Kinder '69, organizations; Carol Hway '68, social; Carolyn Hummel '69, service; and Terry Newport '68, public relations. Sheri Schueler is the new V-Show director; the Mid‑Suburban delegate is Ray Kincaid '70; and AFS chairman is Sue Odom '68.

Student Council is planning the annual Junior Leadership Convention on May 27. The convention will begin at 9 a.m. and will last until noon Bonnie Witzl '68 and the newly elected public relations chairman, Terry Newport, are in charge of the convention, to which about eight junior high schools will send representatives.

Randy Hann, Linda Wesolowski, and Bill Robertson attended the thirty‑third Annual Convention of the Illinois Association of Student Councils at the Sherman House in Chicago. The theme was "Unlock The World You Have the Key." Collinsville High School was the convention host.


The deadline for the student Bus Stop applications is May 19. You can get these applications in the Student Council room or in the main office.
