The organizations committee is to be congratulated on the success of Homecoming 1966. According to various teachers at Maine West this year's Homecoming was among the best. It has been brought to the attention of the officers of Student Council that Maine West was commended by some of the parents and the teachers of Forest View High School. They were greatly impressed with the school spirit of the students and also with the conduct at games.
The Student Council wishes to congratulate and thank all of the people who in any way participated or were involved in Homecoming.

As Homecoming was a success because of the unity involved, all are reminded to remember that V‑Show is also coming up; and unity is needed for that, too. Everyone is invited to make up an act and submit their sign‑up sheets by October 31. Tryouts will start on November 7. Arlette Dawson, V‑Show director, wishes to say that all of the acts do not have to be polished; it is the idea that counts.
Lastly, the Dial Tone is ready today, so buy one for $.50 in the cafeteria. Congratulations are extended to Sheila Quinn, Homecoming Queen '66.
