|
"Connecting Pep Club, M‑Club, the athletic teams, and the student body is the goal of Spirit Senate," stated Sherry Catardi '67, second vice‑president of Pep Club. Sherry and Eddie Lusk '67, president of M‑Club, are co‑chairmen of Spirit Senate. Miss June Thompson is the sponsor of this organization.
Two representatives have been chosen from each homeroom to meet the first and third Fridays of each month during the homeroom period. The representatives will report back to their homerooms about all the school's activities. The first meeting was held Friday, October 7. |
"So far everything seems to be going pretty well, and they're all very enthusiastic about it," reports Sherry. However, she also urged, "We need opinions and suggestions. Support Spirit Senate."
This year Pep Club will again be selling candy to raise money. The candy turtles go on sale Friday, October 14, for $.50 a box. This year the club's goal is to make the candy sale even more successful than it was last year. For those who have not yet joined Pep Club, membership is still open to all students. |
