Members of the Maine West orchestras and choruses will present their annual Christmas concert on December 16, at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. Admission prices are $1 for adults and $.75 for students. Tickets may he purchased at the door. Members of the Music Boosters may use their Music Boosters tickets.
Shirley Jannusch '67 will begin the concert with an organ prelude. The combined String Orchestra will play the "Wreath of Carols." The combined Girls' Choruses will present "O Rejoice, Ye Christians, Loudly" and "Falling Snow on Christmas Day." Linda Timmel '68 is the accompanist.
The Boys' Chorus will sing "Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones" and "A Manger Holds an Infant Pure." Marks Nichols '67 will be the accompanist. A Cello Choir will play "O Holy Night," "Mister Santa," and "The Christmas Song." Students who are featured in this choir are Sue Wright '67, Janet Haarvig '70, Sue Gray '67, Sherry Henderson '67, Jim Janssens '69, Charmaine Henderson '69, Larry Kuznicki '70, Connie Kempton '68, and Cindy Post '70.
The Girls' Glee Club will present "Lullaby, Little Babe" and the theme from "King of Kings." Sharon Jannusch '67 will be accompanying. The Choraliers will sing "There Is No Rose" and "Sledge Bells."

The Concert Orchestra will present the following numbers: "Overture in D Major," "The Swan Lake ‑ Numbers 1 and 2," "Lohengrin ‑ Introduction to Act III," and "A Dream of Christmas." The harpist will be Mary Jo Green.
Accompanists for orchestra are Mark Nichols '67, Laura Greenaway '69, Sue Chamberlain '70, Linda Timmel '68, Diane Kempke '70, Donna Meyer '70, and Nancy Conlon '67. Sue Chamberlain will play an organ interlude during the intermission.
The Concert Choir will present "The Christmas Story" by Hemrich Schutz, a 40‑minute cantata. Soprano soloists will be Carole Hway '68, Lorraine Jensen '67, Linda McColman '67, and Pam Osbourn '68. The baritone soloist will be Doug Fager '68. Loralyn Ware '68, a metzosoprano, will be the Evangelist. Mr. James Thunder, Jr., will be the organist.
Mr. Robert Kuite, chairman of the Music Department, is in charge of the concert. Mr. Michael Cuthbert is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Mildred Heidorn will conduct the orchestras, and Mr. Wilbur Schafer will direct the choruses.
