GA.A. Says

G.A.A. volleyball games are in full swing with 10 teams participating. Tournament games will be played on Monday afternoons and free practices and make‑up games on Wednesday afternoons. It seems the enthusiastic sophomores have the most participants followed by the juniors! A special thank you goes to the Junior Leaders who officiate at the games.

Miss Judith Coddington, G.A.A. sponsor, says, "I hope that all girls who are interested in playing on a volleyball team will be out on Tuesday and/or Thursday for gymnastics, also, or will at least be looking forward to basketball, which is our next intramural sport."

G.A.A. gymnastics will begin December 6. Free workout sessions will be conducted on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Any girl who is interested in apparatus or free exercise may come. Girls need no previous training. Miss Kathy Van Ness and Miss Beatrice Dorchek will be the teachers.

"Let's make our gymnastic intramurals a big success and show the boys that we too can keep fit and trim," said Miss Dorchek.
