"Girls who wear ties and long skirts" is the pet peeve of this week's Warrior of the West, Ron Sass.
Ron stands 5' 9" tall and has blue‑gray eyes and brown hair. He has gone out for gymnastics for four years and received a letter in it.
According to Ron, the hardest part of training is "getting back into shape and losing weight." His prediction for this season is "We should be pretty good if we start hitting our routines!"
Considering the amount of time spent hitting those routines, Ron contends that he does not find it too difficult to keep up with his studies.
Through participation Ron has learned the importance of team effort. He stresses, "Work together, not as an individual." His advice to boys going out for gymnastics is "Whatever you do, don't give up!"

Ron thinks that the counselors are the most outstanding thing about Maine West. He feels that school spirit could be improved by increased attendance at sports events, particularly the minor sports.
Ron's plans for the future include trying for a four‑year scholarship in gymnastics, attending either Wisconsin State University or Southern Illinois University, and staying singleat least for a while!
When asked what he would like to change about himself, Ron replied, "I wouldn't love food as much as I do." Steak and turkey are his favorite dishes.
Ron admits that his worst habit is "breaking dates on Saturday night." Although he quickly added that he tries to avoid doing so as much as possible.
For recreation on weekends and vacations, Ron enjoys snow skiing.
Ron cited "rinky‑dink" as his favorite expression.
