The DAR‑SAR Good Citizen Awards were presented to Nancy Gunn '67 and Doug Chase '67. The Daughters of the American Revolution honor one girl and the Sons of the American Revolution honor one boy, from each of the fifty states, selected from the senior classes of public senior high schools as excelling in dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism
The aim of this project is to pay tribute to youthful character and to call attention to desirable qualities in good citizens.
Students of the Senior Class selected, by vote, three girls and three boys, whom they believed were best qualified as good citizens on the basis of the four qualifications. The three boys receiving the highest number of votes were Doug Chase, Pete Dellegrazio, and Joe Richardson. The three girls who received the highest number of votes were Nancy Gunn, Sheila Quinn, and Sue Ziehn. The faculty was then asked to select one girl and boy to represent the school as our Good Citizens. The two names and addresses are sent to the sponsoring
