Council Promotes All Fraternities

The Interfraternity Council at the University of Illinois is sponsoring High School Weekend on February 24, 25, and 26. All senior boys are cordially invited to attend.

The purpose of the weekend is to promote interest in fraternities. It will provide an opportunity to see them as they really exist.

According to Mr. Phil Carlson, Public Relations Committee chairman, "A good college education is imperative for success in later life."

"To achieve good grades in college, you must have the kind of housing which will give you the correct atmosphere to do so," contends Mr. Carlson. "You also need

social life to make your college life complete. These qualities and many more are found in a fraternity."

To demonstrate the benefits of fraternity life, the visitors will be allowed to choose certain fraternities, meet the men, and have meals with them.

During the weekend stay, those present will be able to see the University of Illinois campus and an Illinois swim meet.

Although the weekend is primarily for students planning to attend college in the fall, junior boys are also welcome.

Attendance at this Weekend requires no interest in attending the University of Illinois.
