Intramural basketball was cancelled Friday, January 27, because of the snow. All the games scheduled for that date were played last Friday with the senior championship game being played between Captain Tom Geen's, Coach George Jorndt',s seventh; and Captain Jim Braun's, Coach Roger King's ninth.

The freshman table tennis tournament ended with Jerry Sluyk of Coach Miley Hotchkiss' second taking the championship.

The games went as follows: Jerry Sluyk, Coach Hotchkiss' second, defeated Mike Mearner, Coach Jorndt's second, 25-10; Jerry Kozak, Coach Hotchkiss' fourth, eliminated Ed Langegraffe; Mike Minter, Coach Jorndt's second, defeated Rich Thomas, Coach Hotchkiss' fourth; Ed Olson, Coach Hotchkiss' fourth, lost to Leonard Nikonsuk, Coach Hotchkiss' third; Jerry Sluyk defeated Jerry Kozak, and Mike Minter eliminated Len Nikonsuk in the semifinal games.

Jerry Sluyk defeated Mike Minter for the championship.

On the agenda next is wrestling in February and weight lifting in late February.
