Usually the foreign exchange students speak about their country in the homeroom assemblies during AFS Week. However, because of scheduling difficulties, Sukru Gurel will not speak until the following week. He will show slides and tell a little about the history of Turkey. "To understand my country, it is very important to understand the history," Sukru pointed out.
Many of the clubs throughout the school will be asked for donations. Dhyan Fehrenbacher and all the people involved urge students to help make AFS Week a big success.
