Enrollment Shows Frosh |
|||||||||
| Does it seem as though the halls are getting smaller every year? The walls aren't closing in, but there is less room for each student. Each year there are more than 200 new students transferring to Maine West. This school year has been no exception. The total enrollment has now risen to 3,202. Running to get to their classes on time are 857 freshmen. These newcomers lead in the class enrollment contest. |
The mighty seniors are low men on the totem pole in this category. There are only 731 representatives from this class. The sophomores and the juniors are the in-between groups. The juniors have the second highest number of students with 822. The sophomores are third with 792. The total enrollment will soon hit the all-time high of 3,240 which occurred during the 1963-64 school year. |
