| The intramural basketball playoffs were completed recently. The sophomores finished their competition when Don Bauer's team from Coach Albert Carsten's fifth hour class defeated Bob Danny's team from Coach Carsten's eighth hour class. The final score was 40-23. Members of the winning team also include Charles Amenta, Tom Mally, Keith Gunderson, Larry. Hanahan, and Jeff Huizinga. |
The Freshman tournament also ended as Ron Kobyoski's team from Coach Roger King's sixth period class took John Beck's team from Coach George Jorndt's second period class. The score here was 27-12. The champs include Ron Buck, Chris Wills, Jim Lonergan, Dan Billings, Warren Bell, and John Matus. Winners of the free throw contest for juniors and seniors have also been announced. For the juniors Jack Graefe took first place while Don Neuman finished second. The Senior champion was Bruce Baker while Bill Caddy came in second. |
