On April 15 tickets for the Cryan Shames and Four Days and a Night concert, May 5, will go on sale in the school cafeteria. The cost of the tickets will be $2.50, and seats will not be reserved.

Election Week for next year's Student Council secretary and president will be held from April 8 until April 11. At the close of the week an Election Jitney is planned for April 11.

Activities Calendar girls will be elected during the week of April 15 to 19. The girls will be chosen from the sophomore class only. On Friday, April 19, the 12 chosen will be announced.

The GI. Drive will take place from April 29 until May 3. Homeroom representatives have been asking the students for names of soldiers who have been or are in Viet Nam. The soldiers must have attended Maine West. These names, in turn, will be put on a plaque for all the students to see.
A special committee has been organized to try to get clocks in the locker rooms and mirrors in the boys' washrooms.

Linda Wesolowski, treasurer of the Northwest District Association, reported that the executive members are presently planning the fall 1968 Student Council Convention.

Since the tape recordings of past events have been misplaced, there will be no Memory Record for this school year.

However, the committee is writing recommendations for a future Memory Record.

David Abbott '68, is the new parliamentarian for Student Council. The two new sergeants-at-arm are Ted Waskowski '68 and Rich Buchanan '69.
