Warrior of the West

This week, we shall take a look at a young man who believes that a "job worth doing is worth doing well." Before revealing his name, a brief physical description would be in order.

First of all, he stands six feet tall - not too tall, but tall enough to excel in basketball. Next, his weight is 195 pounds, which he finds to be a wonderful asset in football when eliminating his favorite rival. This Warrior is also possessed with quick thinking and deftness which greatly aids him in yet another sport, namely, baseball.

Surely by now the reader has considered several possibilities as to whom the star is, so it would only be right to now divulge his name. He is Bob Banger, and he takes everything he does seriously.

Bob is presently taking Physics, English IVW, government, and solid geometry. He thoroughly enjoys them all.
Aside from the pressures of schoolwork and sports, Bob participates in Brotherhood Society and M-Club. He also finds time for just "goofing around." Bob declined to mention any special "beef," but did remark, "I let certain things bother me."

As Bob looks back on his past four years, he has no complaint about Maine West itself, but wishes he could have perhaps added to his height and intelligence.

"Maine is really coming into its own, and the new P.A.R. Program is a wonderful example of progress between students and faculty."

Well, folks, there is Bob Banger: scholar, athlete, a young man with his own philosophy. .
