The recently elected officers and committee chairmen for next year's Student Council are as follows: Rich Buchanan '69, vice-president; Janie Leis '69, treasurer and corresponding secretary; Ray Kincaid '70, public relations; Vicki Coasch '70, organizations; Jo Schafer '69, social; and Dave Zulowski '69, service.
Others include Lisa Pahnke '69, who was chosen to be the student director of V-Show next year; Jim Webster '69, the new Mid-Central Suburban delegate; and Cathy Newport '70, A.F.S. Committee chairman.
A picnic for the Angel Guardian Orphans, sponsored by Maine West Student Council, will take place on June 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. All students are invited to attend. Those interested are to give their names to their respective homeroom representatives, who will be given specific details.
On May 25 Public Relations Committee will hold a Junior High Leadership Convention which will teach, demonstrate, and discuss leadership with junior high students.
