Leaders Hold Dinner Honoring Members
The annual Leader banquet was held on Monday evening, May 13, at 6:30. Those invited included both the junior and senior girls' Physical Education Leaders and all the girls' Physical Education teachers.

The banquet was held at Hackney's on Lake Street in Glenview. The tickets were $2.50 and were available in the bookstore until May 9.

Just before the dinner next year's president Barb Bednarz, and the board members - Dawn Dalin, Jean Durham, Laura Frey, Arlene Hegg, Birdy Kabot, and Jan Oldfield - were announced. This method of president and board government was selected by the Junior Leaders when they voted for their officers.
 Retiring leader officers are seniors Linda Dolphin, president; Liz Bednarz, vice-president; Patti Jo Falconer, secretary; and Nancy Mott, treasurer.

After the entertainment which followed the dinner the 16 most outstanding Senior Leaders were named and given awards of a desk set with their name engraved on it.

Those leaders chosen by the Girls' Physical Education Department were Sharon Bartlett, Liz Bednarz, Linda Bergera, Linda Dolphin, Bobbe Ferraiolo, Beth French, Karen Hemple, Cheryl Johnson, and Linda Klippert.

Other outstanding leaders were Sue Lloyd, Sue Lenhart, Stephanie Muller, Lori Nave, Pam Osborn, Chere Schueler, Gail Stubenrauch, Dee Vrastiak, and Linda Wells.
