Seniors React to PAR |
||||||||
| The PAR program (Privileges Accentuate Responsi-bility) has been in effect for more than a month. To find how the honor study for seniors has been functioning, the Wandering Warrior asked the opinion of various seniors. Jean Spindler: "They cut out first period too much." Bruce Kaechele: "I don't think about it; I just enjoy it." Kandy Kelly: "It's given the seniors a chance to prove that they can be responsible." Mike Tamillo: "Is this for the Westerner? I'm not saying a thing." Jan Kelleher: "It's a good thing, but there's a certain group of kids who are lousing it up." Gary Jung: "I think it's a wonderful thing, and it helps to develop responsibility among the student body." Linda Peterson: "I don't see how we could take advantage of it, because they really didn't give us that much." Drew Johansen: "There's not enough to do in there they should let us play cards and things like that. And they should get the coke machine fixed." Joan Beyer: "I don't know. I never go in there, but it looks good from my receptionist's desk, ninth period." Larry Kahler: "It's great! (heh, heh)" Stephanie Muller: "It's a great way to kill time and an even better way to let your grades go down the drain!" Cheryl Johnson: "I don't know; I've never been there." |
