Banquet Yields New Positions
The new editors of next year's Legend and Westerner were announced at the recent Quill and Scroll Banquet. Janet Moranz '69 will be the editor of the Legend, and Kathie Wolf '69 is the new Westerner editor.

The banquet was held May 21 at Heurs Restaurant on River Road, just south of Higgins. The guest for the evening was Mr. Herman L. Rider, principal.

Following the smorgasbord dinner, the president of Quill and Scroll, Sandy Hurley '68, inducted the new initiates into the society. Mr. Rider presented them with their Quill and Scroll pins.

The new members include Linda Andrews '68, Ann Blonston '69, Dawn Dalin '69, Jane Engle '68, Jo Hynes '69, and David Lashway '70.

Others are Suzan Miller '69, Janet Moranz '69, Marcia Moulton '68, Todd Ramcke '69, Terry Tyrpin '69, and Joan Walter '69.

Viv Geiger, Legend editor, then announced the new Legend staff. The business manager is Joan Walter '69. Other positions include Lynette Berry '69, senior editor; Ann Blonston '69, class editor; Sue Miller '69, activities editor; Don Bauer '70, sports editor; and Carolyn Toren '70 clubs editor.
 Still others are Tina Kaneen '70, academics and organizations editor; Karen Raack '70 administration, faculty, and staff editor; Leslie Ladd, '71, senior assistant; Sharon Hiltwein '71, class assistant, Barb Weaver '71, activities assistant; and Greg Wilkins '71, clubs and organizations assistant.

Yet others include Robert Michalsen '71, sports assistant; and Pat Jacobson '69, technical assistant.

Present editor of the Westerner, Mary Ann Jados '68, announced the new Westerner staff. The associate editor is Janice Thain '69. Other positions include Janet Giardini '69, Page 1 editor; Jo Hynes '69, Page 2 editor; Sue Muncy '69, Page 3 editor; and Terry Tyrpin '69, Page 4 editor.

Page 1 assistants are Diane Clarke '69 and Dawn Dalin '69. Page 2 assistants are Betty Handier '70 and Pat McCallum '70. The assistants for Page 3 are Peg Roberts '70 and Kathy Wurst '69. The Page 4 assistant is Scott Kiester '70. Art editor is Penny Chase '69.

The exchange managers are Mary Ann Budzon '69 and Ellen Just '69. The photographers include Bob Therriault '69, Ray Anderson '69, and Jim Kopke '71.
