PAR Picks '69 Senate Members
"Privileges Accentuate Re-sponsibility" is the senior honor study program. The PAR Senate has recently chosen the new senate members for next year.

The members include Diane Pelinski '69, Alan Utes '69, Drake Mertes '69, Leslie Hill '69, and Alex Schank '69.

They were chosen on the basis of how they answered various questions pertaining to the PAR system. According to Mr. Karl Miller, a faculty member on the senate, "The selection was a difficult one."

Over 30 students applied. They were then interviewed by the present PAR Senate. This consists of two faculty 		advisors, Mr. Miller and Mr. Glenn Hoffmann, and five senior students.

Concerning the success of the program this year, Mr. Miller commented, "It has been well received for the most part. The seniors appear to have accepted the responsibility fairly well."

As far as discipline problems go, Mr. Miller admits, "There does seem to be a little rowdiness towards the end of the day."

According to Mr. Miller, things will be handled "much the same way next year."
