Dave Grutzuis
Dave Grutzius, as described by a Senior Leader, is "adorable." Nevertheless this active senior has lettered three times in both wrestling and golf. Dave was eligible for wrestling districts as a sophomore and placed eighth in conference golf last year and now shoots in the high thirties. Dave enjoys all sports "but especially golf because it is a warm weather sport." Dave suggested "a work-program schedule" for athletes in order to involve more students in athletics. "They would attend classes the first part of the day, practice the rest of the day, and be dismissed with the other students." Dave will be attending the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in the fall and will be majoring in finance.
