Warriors Host Conference

Coach Roger King's racketmen ended their season last Monday, May 27, at the conference meet held here. Although the meet was scheduled for the previous Saturday, it was partially rained out. The finals were held Monday afternoon. However, Bill Caddy was the only Warrior to make it to this stage.

The Warriors, who finished sixth in conference, held their last dual meet at Glenbrook North on Tuesday, May 21. The meet was a success as the racketmen won 3.2.

First singles player, Dave Williams, won at Glenbrook when he defeated Leeke 6-1, 6-1. Bill Caddy triumphed in third sin-gles over Ohki 6-3, 6-3,
while second doubles players Tom Tyler and Bill Ritchie scored a 6-4, 6-1, success over Weiss-Klein.

The Warriors also triumphed over Niles West 4-1 the preceding Tuesday. Williams downed Gilford 3-6, 10-8, 6-1 and Caddy beat M. David 3-6, 7-5, 6-0. Jack Williams-Dave Keehn also scored a first doubles win when they downed Feldberg-Black 6-3, 7-5. In second doubles Tyler-Ritchie beat Brodsky-Schraw 6-3, 8-6.

The frosh-soph entered the conference meet in a last-place tie with Glenbrook North. Unfortunately no Warriors advanced to the finals.
