Harry Tistle

Harry Tistle, looking upon his past career at Maine West, admitted that "It's been a long four years, and I've had a hard time getting through it." However, he has gotten through it and quite successfully; for he has to his credit three letters in baseball and two in basketball. Harry, a soft-spoken boy, doesn't seem to worry much about the future; he instead prefers to live for the moment and to apply his determination at this time. This attitude was apparent when he revealed that his favorite sport is "basketball when I'm playing basketball and baseball when I'm playing that." No particular game stands out in his mind because "Every game is exciting." Harry, although a leading scorer on Maine's basketball team, has also shown himself to be a fine pitcher and plans to continue baseball at Southern Illinois.
