Aquiana Show To Take Place |

| Are you going to be "Where The Action Is" November 2, 3, or 4 at 8 p.m.? You will if you're at the swimming pool watching this year's Aquiana Swim Club show. To open the show the Choraliers will sing, followed by the first act entitled "Aqua Action.'' Next Cheri Schuler '68 and Peg Scheuneman '68 will display their talent in "Rainbow Rhapsodies," a shadow number. "Campus Co-eds" is the title of the next act in which Jan Konz '70, Jo Hynes '69, Vicki Anderson '68, Chris Olander '69, Terry Stoner '69, and Ted Loska '69 will participate. Chris Peterson '68, Pat Mc-Callum '70, Gail Blaha '69, and Debbie Morrison '70 comprise a quartet; and Lois Whitman '68, Kathy Seipp '69, and Vicki Anderson '68 are performing in a trio entitled "Spy Vs. Spy Vs. Spy." Kathy Malten '68 will solo within a group including Chris Norton '70, Linda Vanden Branden '68, Beth French '68, and Karen Bendyk '69. |
Featured solos in this year's show include Linda Wells' "Catnip Trip," Chris Peterson's "Pretty Pageantry," and Pat Campbell's "Spring Fever." Barb Kelly '70 and Sue Winn '70 will present a diving display which will be followed by a complete stroking number entitled "Clowns Caper." Sixteen girls dressed as clowns will par-ticipate in this act. A sextet displaying the abilities of Linda Vanden Branden, Kathy Seipp, Sharon Brownell '70, Jan Ingles '70, Gail Blaha, Jan Konz, and Gayle Durham '70 will perform "Freedom's Fate." Eight girls using body lights to represent the Chicago skyline will carry out their act to the music of "Chicago" before the finale brings the show to a close. Chris Peterson, president, re-marked, "We've all been working very hard for this show, including Mrs. Margaret McCaw. She has been a great encouragement to all of us." Tickets for "Where The Action Is" are $.75 for Thursday night and $1 for Friday and Saturday nights. |
