| "It's the greatest thing that's ever happened to me!" explained Greg Essig '68 about his winning the S. A. R. (Sons of the American Revolution) Good Citizen Award. "I hadn't even thought of it," revealed Linda Wells '68, winner of the D. A. R. (Daughters of the American Revolution) Good Citizen Award. |
Both Linda and Greg are well qualified for their awards, which are based upon dependability, leadership, service, and patriotism. Linda is the secretary of Student Council and was also secretary of her Junior Class and vice-president of her Freshman Class. Greg is the president of his class, a Senior Leader, and a member of the Student Council Executive Board. The winners were chosen by the faculty on November 22 from the three girls and three boys receiving the highest vote from the Senior Class, who cast their ballots on November 8. |
