Increasing Problems Demand Improvement |
|||||||||
| Our world is in a mess! Let's face it; we might as well "throw in the towel and call it quits." There seems to be very little "good" left. Everyone is a criminal. There aren't any loyal, patriotic Americans anymore. Everyone is protesting against something. Nobody understands anybody nowadays. Colleges are overcrowded, and the condition will worsen. The birth rate is increasing while the death rate is decreasing. The water pollution problem is getting worse. And this is air? "God is dead." |
Traffic fatalities are on an upswing. The cost of living isn't getting any lower. Our society is morally corrupt, physically lazy, and emotionally unstable. Over half the people in the United States are under 25 years of age. More ulcer pills are sold today than in any other period of medical history. Everyone is egotistical, crude, and indifferent. We all have warped minds and need psychiatric help. The average life-span for a person who is now 16 years old is about 80. While trying to "live" on this sphere of futility, pick one of the above topics-any topic, and try to do something to improve this mess. Every little bit helps! |
