Inner Qualities Dominate |
|||||||||
| What do we look like today? Not so good? Well, it doesn't matter; no one is going to criticize our appearance anyway. Is our hair a mess? Slacks or skirt wrinkled or dirty? How about our muddy, shabby, unpolished shoes? We don't even have a second thought. After all, we know that in keeping with our "brotherly love" philosophy, we judge one another not by how wrinkly our clothes are or how unkept our hair looks, but rather by our inner qualities of beauty and excellence-we know-those qualities such as, sincerity, tact, honesty, consideration, and a good |
sense of humor, to name only a few. Yes, to those of us who had a negative reply to the first question, we need not worry. Our acquaintances are admiring our inward traits of kindness, gentleness, simplicity, and our worldly wisdom! On first meeting we all comment on how kind, generous, and loyal others are; for we all know that what is inside is more important than what we wear. Right? |
