G.A.A. Says

Badminton will be held next Monday and Wednesday, January 15 and 17. During the second semester badminton will be held every Wednesday a n d Thursday from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. Miss Royleen Tipton, sponsor of badminton and physical education instructor, urged, "All girls interested in participating on the badminton team should come out on Monday and Wednesday."

An intramural gymnastics meet is being organized for early March. All interested girls should try to attend practice after school on Friday.

G.A.A.'s schedule this year includes a winter outing to be held in the latter part of January or early February.
Saturday, January 27, will highlight a basketball play day at Glenbrook South. Six players are needed for a basketball team to compete in the play day. Applications for being on the team may be obtained from any girls' physical education instructor and are to be returned by January 20.

The final basketball games will be held during the next few weeks on Mondays and Thursdays. Miss Judy Coddington, sponsor of G.A.A., commented, "Individual trophies will be given to all G.A.A. members of the first place team."

The election of the Girls' Athletic Association Executive Board will be coming up in the middle of February. Applications for the office of president, vice-president, secretary-treasurer, and intramural chairman will be available from Miss Coddington after the end of first semester.
