Art Classes To Enjoy Long Term Projects

Mr. George Blanas, Art Department chairman, has introduced an art history project to his Art III and Art IV classes. This project is not an ordinary art history research project. The assignment is a visual observance of various fields in art through the years.

The morning class has been assigned to show man in paintings through the ages. To trace man from prehistoric art to
present day pop art in a visual form and to be able to present it to an ordinary nonartistic person is just part of these classes' problem. Their project has to be presented in a cylinder box, or some kind of enclosed object.

The afternoon class has to deal with either the way perspective was handled by past artists or the materials that the artists used.
