Frank Makes Top Forty |
|||||||||
| Frank Schulz '68 is now eligible to receive four-year Westinghouse Science Scholarships of $4,000 to $10,000 if he is selected as one of the top 10 most talented science students in the nation. He has already been judged as one of the top 40 students by the judging committee of the Westinghouse Science Talent Search. For this achievement Frank will receive an all expense paid trip to the Science Talent Institute held in Washington, D.C. on February 28 through March 4 and a Westinghouse Science award of $250. |
Frank's high scores on the Science Talent Search examination and his scholastic and personal records qualified him for the top 40 honors group If he does make the top 10, it will be because of his 1,000-word composition entitled, "The Number of Wins in N-Dimensional Tic-Tac-Toe." Frank's courses this year include Biology AP, Chemistry AP, and Calculus AP. His science teacher, Mr. Karl Miller, says of Frank, "He is one of the most talented science and math students I've ever had, especially in interpreting data." |
