Girls' Choice Dance Proves Successful |
|||||||||
| The annual Girls' Choice Dance was held Saturday, February 17, in the Maine West cafeteria. The cafeteria was cheerfully decorated as a carousel with balloons and gay clowns. In carnival style the cafeteria awaited its guests. At exactly 8:30 p.m. things began to come alive. The Mead' and the Renaissance, two Maine West combos, started playing the popular favorites. Couples had the |
option of dancing to the music or just sitting down at one of the tables and talking. Carnival refreshments were served in R-104. Popcorn, carmel-corn, and red and green punch were provided. "The dance was great! It was different from previous years and was a lot of fun," stated one of the attendants at the dance. |
