| By RICH THRAWL Of all the squads here at Maine West, none can compare with the young ladies who make up the cheers that lead our teams to victory. Without these vivacious young ladies leading our student body in cheers and yells, our teams would not realize how much we are behind them in their endeavors. |
Win or lose, a lot of credit must go to the guys playing their best to win for the school and the students. However, little credit is ever paid to the cheerleaders. Today we give a cheer for the cheerleaders of Maine West. These girls spend a lot of time practicing cheers. The time they spend after school could he devoted to many other worthwhile activities, but these spirited girls memorize cheers so as to lead the students in backing the teams. |
