Barbara Ann Hawkins, 73, of Fenton, IL and Florida, passed away Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016, surrounded by the love, support and prayers of her family. She was born June 22, 1943, daughter of Johanna (Torrenga) and Robert Lehr in Chicago. Barbara is survived by her husband, Bob Hawkins; two children, Robin (Dan) Moss and Dan (Cathy) Hawkins; her brothers, Bob (Irene) and Brian (Kathy) Lehr; four grandchildren, Robert Moss, Megan Moss, Caitlyn Hawkins and Nathaniel Hawkins; and many nieces and nephews. Barb will be remembered by family and friends for her caring and kindness as a mom, gramma, sister and wife. She was very active with her children and grandchildren. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her extended Lehr and Hawkins family members. Barbara worked as a nurse at Illini Hospital and she also worked as a Hospice nurse. After retirement, Barbara and Bob loved being snowbirds and worked at Disney World during the autumn and winter months.
