Susan Jean Freitag, age 58, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at Porter Memorial Hospital. She was born June 24, 1943 in Evanston, IL, the daughter of Rudolph and Phyllis (Anderson) Linneweh. She graduated from Maine West High School in 1961 and received her B.A. from Valparaiso University in 1965 in Sociology and Find Art. She had been a Family Case Manager with Indiana Child Protection Service, Porter County Division of Family and Children for 14 years and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. On Feb. 19, 1966 in Des Plaines, IL, she married John Keith Freitag who survives along with their three children, Jason A. (Alexis) Freitag of Chicago, Christian M. (Elizabeth) Freitag of Bloomington, IN, and Jessica E. Freitag of Evanston, IL; her mother Phyllis Linneweh of Des Plaines, IL and two brothers-in-law, James Freitag of Palatine, IL and Jeffrey A. (Jane) Freitag of Michigan City. She was preceded in death by her father, Rudolph Linneweh in 1989.
