Joseph P. Berganos, 29, of Des Plaines. Born May 23, 1973, in Chicago, he died Friday, June 7, 2002, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. A 1991 graduate of Maine West High School, Mr. Berganos worked as a recruiter for Forefront Staffing. He is survived by his fiancee, Jennifer Vardon; parents, Rodrigo and Rosario Berganos; grandmother, Juana Perey; brother, Rodney Berganos; sister, Daisy (Jose) Jacobe; nephews, Jedric, Jeffri and Jesse Jacobe; aunt, Zoila (Gary) Crider; uncle, Eustacio (Elvira) Berganos; and cousins, Wayne, Beverly, Eilene, Andrea and Jon-Jon.
