FAQ

Who's coming?

People who graduated from Maine West in 2000, or at least attended Maine West with the class of 2000 for one year, their dates (if they choose to bring one), and hopefully a few of our favorite teachers.

Can I bring someone, even if they're not from Maine West?

Yes! Bring your spouse, significant other, boyfriend, girlfriend, or anyone you wish. As long as you've purchased a ticket for them, they are more than welcome to join us.

I didn't officially graduate from Maine West in 2000, although I was your classmate during at least one of those years. Can I come?

Absolutely. Some classmates were only with us during freshman year, and others had alternate graduation plans; we're more interested in seeing you than whether you walked on the official graduation day.

I heard of this event through a friend of mine, and even though I totally graduated with you guys, I didn't get an invitation! What gives?

Our sincerest apologies; we certainly didn't mean to leave you out of the loop. Either you sent us your info and your invite is lost in the mail or we don't have you in the database at all. We've found a few people that were missing on our list, so if you're one of them, sorry! If you respond here before August 18, 2010, we'll be able to send you an invite in the mail. Otherwise, all the information you need is on this web site. If you're curious as to what the mailing looks like, you can download a copy of the invitation for yourself here.

Do I have to buy a ticket online to get that pre-registration price? I feel weird sending money over the internet.

Nope, you don't have to buy it online at all. In your invite, we've listed two addresses to mail a check to. Just get it to us before September 20th, 2010.

To whom shall I make my check payable?

You can send the check and make it payable to either:

Kallie Haas or Marissa Panganiban

Our addresses are on the invite we sent. If you lost it, contact us, and we'll send you our mailing addresses.

What's the dress code?

We're planning on this event to be pretty laid back, so don't feel like you're coming to a wedding or a business conference. It's gonna be a relaxed and fun atmosphere at a bar/restaurant, so whatever you feel comfortable coming in is just fine.

Who's running this thing?

Glad you asked! Although this is the official 10-Year reunion, the event itself is in no way organized or funded by Maine West or the district. Whoever volunteers to organize it gets the job. You can read all about the reunion team here.

Can I help too?

Sure you can, we'd love the help! You can go to the team page or just e-mail us here.

I have a business that I'd like to promote. Is there a way to advertise at the event?

There sure is. Check it out.
